Earlier this month, Knoa attended SAPPHIRE NOW + ASUG Annual Conference, SAP’s largest global business technology event of the year. As in years past, thought leaders, SAP experts and partners shared best practices and new technologies, trends and news impacting the SAP ecosystem. Among the key topics, user experience management continues to garner traction, in fact, SAP placed a large banner in front of the exhibit hall announcing: “Experience Management is Here!”Additionally, S/4HANA projects continue to be a high priority and one of the most prominent topics at the event.

SAP’s message related to Experience Management is supported by its recent acquisition of Qualtrics.XO – Experience Data (X) coupled with Operational data (O) to provide a comprehensive insight into customer and employee experience.Experience data, derived from the Qualtrics survey technology, provides insight into employees’ and customers’ perceptions of their experience, while the operational data (via Knoa UEM) explains what is happening.Knoa UEM is a key data source for Experience data based on a user’s actual experience with the enterprise application.This combined data allows detailed understanding of experience gaps, and guidance on the expeditious resolution of problems and improvements to the user experience through design, process improvement, intuitive UI and training. The longer term result is greater innovation that reflects a comprehensive view of the user’s experience.

This has made it instrumental in enabling organizations across many industries and geographies as they migrate to SAP S/4HANA and the SAP HANA® database.As more and more companies move to SAP S/4HANA, our performance and usability metrics have proven to ensure a smooth migration and confirm user adoption. Salt River Project presented how they leveraged SAP UEM by Knoa to successfully move complex SAP applications to SAP Fiori while providing a user experience that is personalized, responsive, and simple.

A Customer Accelerates Its Implementation of SAP S/4HANA with SAP User Experience Management by Knoa

Running on SAP S/4HANA 1610, and consolidating all ERP instances into a single global system, the IT global delivery team at AES Corporation depended on the SAP UEM application by Knoa for its migration to SAP S/4HANA and for building the base for the AES digital transformation program.

AES presented how they utilize SAP UEM by Knoa to pave the way for a migration to SAP S/4HANA by prioritizing which transactions to move first. AES gained insight into employee usage patterns with the SAP UEM application by Knoa, which enabled the company to consolidate of all ERP instances into one global system and establish the basis for digital transformation.

Bunge South America has been helping feed the world since 1818 by connecting people, markets, countries, and cultures. Bunge’s rapidly expanding ERP footprint in Brazil presented the double challenge of ensuring that users are quickly onboarded to use the new systems while equipping the functional support teams to handle the fast pace of change in the IT landscape. To help ensure a smooth and successful rollout, IT leadership at Bunge needed to harmonize the different support activities with no business disruptions and identify any training or technical gaps within its landscape.

Bunge optimized training delivery and improved support SLAs, radically transforming its change management processes.

Graybar, a distributor of electrical, communications and data networking products, is utilizing the SAP UEM application by Knoa to facilitate its migration to SAP Suite on HANA. SAP UEM is helping Graybar detect and correct user errors, improve employee experience and boost response time across transactions.

The in-depth user analytics of SAP UEM give Graybar full visibility into employee engagement with enterprise applications. The distributor has been able to ensure the success of its SAP Suite on HANA migration by using SAP UEM to compare pre- and post-upgrade user experience and response time. Graybar also leverages the solution to identify and address errors and inefficiencies without requiring employees to recreate their actions.

Customer Appreciation Dinner

We co-hosted a customer appreciation dinner with head of SAP Education North America Michael Pelfrey at Eddie V’s Prime Seafood, welcoming customers from all over the globe and a broad range of industries. The event offered a fun night of networking and knowledge transfer among leading edge companies that are utilizing Knoa to optimize their SAP investment.
