Earlier this month, we attended SAPPHIRE NOW + ASUG Annual Conference, SAP’s largest global business technology event of the year. As in years past, thought leaders, SAP experts and partners shared best practices and new technologies, trends and news impacting the SAP ecosystem. Among the key topics, user experience management continues to garner traction; enterprises are using it to optimize SAP deployments and migrations, as well as improve user adoption within S/4HANA and Fiori projects.

In case you missed us in Orlando, below is a recap of what transpired at SAPPHIRE.

uKnoa Event

The day before SAPPHIRE NOW + ASUG Annual Conference kicked off, we hosted uKnoa, our customer user group meeting. Several key customers attended, which provided an interactive forum for Knoa Business and IT users to learn from their peers, share best practices, and get the inside track on our product roadmap.

Leonardo Support

The new version of Knoa User Experience Management (UEM) was introduced in Orlando. Resold by SAP as SAP® User Experience Management (SAP UEM) by Knoa, this enhanced release accelerates SAP S/4HANA® implementations through increased extensibility of the Knoa UEM monitoring and analytical platform. These features offer a key analytical tool for initiatives involving SAP Leonardo.

Customer Roundtables

We had several customers share their experience with UEM at several roundtable discussions:

  • Mondelēz International hosted a customer roundtable session to discuss the decision process and successful implementation of SAP User Experience Management (UEM) by Knoa. SAP UEM enables Mondelez to visualize new concepts with existing ideas, highlights areas where improvements could be made to streamline processes and procedures, and optimizes workforce training.
  • AES Corporation also discussed how SAP UEM by Knoa helped with its S/4HANA migration project.
  • Gibbs Saint Paul of Salt River Project explained the journey of migrating SAP Business Suite and SAP Business Warehouse to SAP HANA.
  • Graybar discussed how SAP HANA extended application services on SAP Business Suite to build custom views and OData services to equip its sales force with reporting and analytics tool. Graybar also shared the three-step approach they utilized to migrate successfully to the SAP HANA business data platform – from preparation phase to ongoing support and enhancements as well as the greatest challenges and lessons learned.

Customer Appreciation Dinner

We co-hosted a customer appreciation dinner with head of SAP Education North America Michael Pelfrey at Eddie V’s Prime Seafood welcoming customers from all over the globe representing a broad range of industries. The event offered a fun night of networking and knowledge transfer among leading edge companies that are utilizing Knoa to optimize their SAP investment.
