Technical Project Manager

The Technical Implementation Manager is responsible for the successful implementation of highly configurable software solutions. Our ideal candidate is one with high standards of technical expertise and experience with implementation of software solutions. Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications is also desirable. We look for leaders who demonstrate high personal productivity and integrity, who can work largely unassisted and as part of a closely knit team.

Responsibilities :

  • Manages the full-cycle technical implementation for enterprise customer accounts
  • Manages the product quality testing for individual accounts and ensures customer configuration meets quality standards before release to customer
  • Manages the ongoing maintenance and support of individual accounts - the execution of maintenance checks and resolution of support tickets
  • Manages the technical implementation of product extensions, customizations, or new product modules in the customer environment
  • Manages product upgrades for customer accounts
  • Communicate effectively with managers, technical, and non-technical personnel at all levels
  • Drives priorities and deadlines to completion
  • Maintains project documentation on a weekly basis for all assigned customers
  • Effectively communicates and escalates issues, roadblocks, and risks to management while maintaining responsibility for their resolution
  • Raises awareness and knowledge of technical product portfolio throughout Operations to continue to improve development of implementation and support methodologies

Skills/Qualifications:
  • Computer science degree or comparable work experience
  • A minimum of 2 years in client-facing software implementation engagements
  • Experienced in implementation of packaged software solutions as a vendor or consultant within a standard implementation life cycle
  • Well organized, self starter with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be able to manage shifting priorities, demands, and timelines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Team player: effectively able to drive execution and own responsibility for overall success of implementations
  • Must be a dynamic personality with both technical proficiency and customer-facing skills
