As part of the Agent development team, the Engineer is charged with the development of the key component of the Knoa technology solution. This is a hands-on development role, for a highly motivated self starter. This role will be engaged in almost all aspects of the product development cycle from design and requirements to implementation and quality control. All Knoa directly or indirectly depend on the correct functioning of this component, deep and broad development knowledge is essential.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide expertise on the Agent functionality to the rest of the development organization. Facilitate the use of this component in the scripting of client solutions, provide guidance as to how to achieve the best results. Incorporate feedback into future designs.
- Develop tools to improve the quality and speed of Solutions development based on the Agent.
- Mentor junior developers in coding best practices. Contribute to a well designed, well implement implementation.Design, code and maintain the Knoa SDK.
- Establish expertise and ownership in all target applications that are a part of the Knoa Product Library.
- Learn features, common workflows and internal setup of various ERP and custom enterprise applications.
The ideal person is someone who has a passion for programming, who thinks of it as an "art form", with familiarity and even strong opinions on how to write good code!
Requirements
- Computer Science degree required
- Advanced knowledge of MS Windows internals is a must
- 5+ years of experience working in Windows system programming (C, C++, and Windows API).
- Must be familiar with C or C# and knowledge of many programming paradigms.
- Strong work ethic, high level of accountability and focus on quality.
- Knowledge of Internet Explorer internals is highly desirable.
- Has experience in a fast-paced product based development environment.
- Can assemble product designs and requirements from scratch.
- Ability to plan and assess risk factors.
