Knoa is looking for program managers/business analysts to build on and expand upon our data analysis and reporting platform. The ideal candidates will have very strong analytical skills, and have a strong desire to be involved in understanding Knoa's user & application performance data and interpreting its use in Knoa's analytical and reporting products. We're looking for candidates with experience or knowledge some of the following areas. If you have one or several skills outlined below, we are interested to talk to you. Cross-disciplinary skills, across the 3 main profiles outlined below, are highly valued.

You will be engaged in a variety of data mining and visualization projects, you will be expected to drive ideas from conception to functional prototype, and also be able to work collaboratively on common projects.

Data Mining and Analysis
Role: Drive new data models, interpretations, and applications for end-user performance analytics.

• Strong analytical/problem solving skills
• Experience with data aggregation, manipulation, and analysis
• Data and database modeling, and data mining
• Ability to design database schemas and use SQL for data analysis
• Background in statistical analysis and experience with statistical tools
• Knowledge of web analytics concepts and tools
• Knowledge of data crunching techniques (SQL, PHP, perl, Java, etc scripting)
• Experience with OLAP (online analytical processing)
• Data warehousing processes (ETL - Extract, Transform, and Load)
• Database performance issues (query speed, etc) and high volume data processing
• Data management strategies (database partitioning, data archiving, etc)
• Experience with front-end technologies a plus
• Experience with commercial reporting tools (Cognos, Business Objects, etc) a plus
• Visual design and market research capabilities a plus

Front-End Development / Data Visualization
Role: Drive design initiatives for interactive data display in a web reporting platform

• Strong analytical/problem solving skills
• Demonstrated experience in interactive UI design and development
• Flash / HTML / Java graphing, reporting and/or interactive data display
• Understanding of interactive design principles
• Rapid UI prototyping and passion for effective data display
• Command of Flash, CSS, HTML/XHTML, AJAX, JavaScript, Java
• Applied knowledge and use of DOM methods and properties
• Experience with commercial reporting tools (Cognos, Business Objects, etc) a plus
• Experience in data analysis and SQL databases a plus

Business Requirements Analysis
Role: Drive business requirements for application of Knoa analytical & reporting capabilities to target audiences in an enterprise environment.

• Strong analytical/problem solving skills
• Domain expertise in enterprise software systems, such as SAP, Oracle Business Suite, Siebel, PeopleSoft, etc - as an end-user of these applications
• Domain expertise or knowledge of enterprise software systems - in a support role, such as application/IT support, user support, help desk, etc.
• Experience with business reporting for Sales, management reporting, business process management, financial reporting or similar areas
• Visual design and market research capabilities a plus
