The Front-End Software Engineer will join Knoa’s Product Engineering team and contribute to the specification, development, and delivery of the reporting platform. The position requires experience developing data-driven RIAs and expertise in Flex is highly desirable. The ideal candidate will be an organized, motivated, proactive, and enthusiastic individual who will compliment our talented team of engineers and designers.

Accountabilities:

Your experience with front-end technologies will help us:

• Prototype, refine, and deliver next-generation products
• Develop a best-in-class reporting platform
• Continually improve our technical best practices
• Track and resolve technical issues

Your organizational efforts will help project leads:

• Maintain accurate internal reports on development status, issues, and risk mitigation plans
• Approve and validate project deliverables in a timely fashion

Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science (or related field)
• 1-4 years of professional experience with
  • Flex, AS3 and/or Ajax
  • Comet, Adobe BlazeDS, and/or LiveCycle ES
  • Cairngorm, PureMVC, and/or Mate
  • Web services (JAX-RS, SOAP)
  • Developing scalable, custom visualizations and/or games
• Desirable professional experience with
  • Java-based Widget Toolkit frameworks (AWT, SWT, Swing, etc)
  • Commercial, data-driven web applications and RIAs
  • J2EE/Spring/Hibernate Enterprise Web Architectures
• Effective communication skills are a must
