Siebel customers are increasingly focused on measuring:
  1. How effectively the Siebel application is performing for the end-users - the true end user experience
  2. How effectively the end users are able to execute the Siebel application

This focus recognizes the need to drive adoption and the effective use of the Siebel application in order to achieve the customer's operating objectives, including ROI. And, customers are increasingly realizing that more than 50% of their performance issues have nothing to do with Siebel or the infrastructure, but are caused by the inability of users to effectively execute.

To date, specific measurements that enable customers to address these two issues from the user's perspective have not been available. As a result, the identification and implementation of performance improvement programs to address user performance issues has been difficult at best.

And, at the end of the day, Siebel catches the brunt of the customer's frustration, regardless of the cause. Resolving these issues creates significant value for the customer and can substantially improve the long term relationship between Siebel and the customer.
